Summer Staff 2019

Come join us in making this the best summer possible! You’ll make friends and build community with an amazing team as you all serve and create relationships with the campers. You’ll get to dress-up for crazy themes, play wild wide-games, sing silly songs old and new, take your cabin on a hike to the Treehouses or out to the water trampoline. Ultimately, you will be building into camper’s lives and sharing God’s love to each of them in a way that is relational and fun.

Term of Service: June 19-August 26 (NEW end date)

Requirements: Graduation from high school, Standard First Aid and Criminal Record Check (before summer start)

Application Deadline: Returning Staff - Jan 31st New Staff - April 1st

Financial Assistance:

All summer staff positions from June 30-August 24 have a Support Goal assigned to them. Tulahead will contribute to the Support Goal as needed in order to reach that goal (example: "Support Goal: $5500; Tulahead contributes $3000 if needed"). Your Support Goal is the maximum amount you will receive at the end of the summer (according to what was raised for the Staff Support Fund) and Tulahead’s contribution is the minimum amount that you would receive. 

There are many ways to fundraise for your Support Goal: events; bottle drives; Facebook fundraisers; etc. One option Camp Tulahead provides for you, if you choose, is we can write to individuals that you believe would support you (Examples: Friends, Family, your Church, etc). You would need to provide us with names and email addresses.

If you are a returning staff member, in addition to Tulahead’s Contribution amount, you will also receive a Returning Staff Bonus. If you reach your Support Goal of $5,500, the bonus will still be added on to this amount.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and an active and growing faith.

  • Passion for today's youth and a desire to understand and love them.

  • Commitment to lifestyle evangelism and a desire to share what God has taught them.

  • A servant's heart, a listening ear, an accepting attitude and a compassionate vision.

  • Commitment to the local church and its ministries. 

  • A desire to leave their safety zone and reach youth where they are at.

  • An appreciation for teamwork, and a desire to work hard at being a team player.

  • Graduated from high school and want to be used by God this summer.

What you will receive:

  • The option of fundraising $5,500 toward your ministry here at camp, Tulahead will help contribute $3,000 if needed, returning staff receive a bonus for their years of experience

  • A six day break in the middle July 28-August 2 (extra $ if you choose to stay and work)
