Below is a list of each position and a brief description of the responsibilities.  Please note that all positions provide opportunities to spend time with the campers and share the love of Jesus with them.

POSITION DESCRIPTIONS

Program Coordinator: FILLED

You will be responsible for planning and implementing the day to day summer program, including: evening activities and day long events. You will be part of a leadership team that gives direction to the staff and campers. Previous leadership experience and organizational skills are essential. This position requires set up and planning time prior to the summer commitment. Ask about start date. 

Daytime Activity Coordinator: FILLED

You will be responsible for planning and implementing the daytime activity program, including: free time activities and the daytime activity blocks. You will be part of a leadership team that gives direction to the staff and campers. Previous leadership experience and organizational skills are essential. This position requires set up and planning time prior to the summer commitment. Ask about start date. 

Head Lifeguard and Program Assistant: NEED 1

You will be responsible for supervising the waterfront facility, including: activities; staff; safety; and equipment. You will also be in charge of all lifeguards and boat operators. You will assist the Program Coordinator with the summer program as needed. You must hold a current NLS certificate, have substantial lifeguarding and leadership experience, organizational skills, and proficiency in various water activities. This position requires set up and planning time prior to the summer commitment. Ask about start date. 

Lifeguard and Activity Instructor: FILLED

You will be responsible to assist the Head Lifeguard with the supervision of the waterfront facility and as an activity instructor you will have the opportunity to instruct an activity to a group of campers in one of the camp activities (previous instructing experience is also an asset). You must hold a current NLS certificate, have previous guarding and water activity experience. 

Cabin Leader and Activity Instructor: NEED 3 Females and 3 Males

As a cabin leader you are responsible for seven campers per week, and it is an asset to have previous cabin leading/youth work experience and/or training. You will also have various other duties to perform to help with the program. When you are not cabin leading, you will be on kitchen staff or on work crew. As an activity instructor you will teach groups of campers in one of the camp activities (previous instructing experience is also an asset). Overall, you are there to love the campers, build relationships and share the truth of the gospel. 

Assistant Cook: NEED 2

You will be responsible for meal preparation and keeping the kitchen clean, organized and positive. Previous cooking experience is required and knowledge about food preparation. You must hold a current Food Safe certificate.You will also have the opportunity to assist in camp activities with the campers. 

First Aid Attendant: FILLED

You will be responsible to coordinate all aspects of camp health, including first aid, health care, and training staff. You will also assist with office and program duties. You must have current training in advanced first aid (minimum OFA Level 2), previous experience, organizational skills, and a genuine desire to care for people. 

Office Assistant: FILLED

You will be responsible for coordinating the check-in procedure of campers throughout the summer; working in the camp office, answering and returning phone calls, photocopying, filing, etc.; driving for errands and hospital/clinic visits; and assist with the program and campers. 

A/V Tech and Program Assistant: NEED 1

You will be responsible for producing a weekly camp DVD, DVD duplication, camper photos, orders, and for the maintenance and care of the audio/visual equipment. You will assist the Program Coordinator as needed. Photography and video experience is required as well as computer editing knowledge. 

L.I.G.H.T. Director: FILLED

You will be responsible for implementing the camp’s leadership program for participants in grades 9-12. You will also encourage the participants in their spiritual walks and give them one on one feedback at the end of their program. Previous leadership experience with high school students, organizational skills and the ability to instruct in group and individual settings are essential. 

L.I.G.H.T Assistant: FILLED

You will be responsible to assist the LIGHT Director in implementing the camp’s leadership program for participants in grades 9-12. You will also encourage the participants in their spiritual walks and give them one on one feedback at the end of their program. Previous leadership experience with high school students, organizational skills and the ability to instruct in group and individual settings are essential.
